Watch a PowerPoint become a narrated lesson

2 minutes

Where the speaker notes go, what the import does, and how the deck comes back with audio inside it.

From paste to play

One lesson, start to finish. Nothing here is a separate product or an add-on.

  1. Your lesson

Start from what you already teach

Paste the text, or import it: a Word document, a PDF, a web page, or a PowerPoint — NarraSift narrates the deck's speaker notes and keeps its slides alongside. Split into sections if you like.

  2. The delivery

    Make it sound like teaching

Choose from dozens of classroom voices across ten languages. Set a pace students can follow, drop a pause anywhere the audio should wait — for a question, a diagram, a breath — and teach it your terminology once, so every lesson pronounces it correctly.

  3. The audio

Generate it — and change your mind cheaply

Your lesson comes back as narrated audio in minutes. Edit one line later and regenerate just that section instead of re-recording anything.

Every way it reaches your class

Present it in class

A full-screen player with a pause button you can hit from across the room, jump-to-section controls, and your slides and diagrams appearing on the words you chose.

Hand it out

Download the MP3 with captions, or take the PowerPoint back with the audio embedded — it plays in PowerPoint itself, no NarraSift account needed to listen.

See what landed

After class, see which passages students replayed or slowed down — the parts of the lesson that need another look.

A lesson that exists as audio survives a sick day

Flu season, a family emergency, a snow day with remote class: the lesson you already prepared can still be taught in your own words and your chosen voice. A substitute presses play; the class hears the lesson, not a worksheet.

Questions teachers ask

Do my students need accounts?

No. You present from your screen or share the downloaded MP3 — students never sign in.

What counts against my characters?

The lesson text you turn into audio. Pauses are free, and failed generations are never charged.

Do unused characters roll over?

Monthly plan characters reset at each renewal, with three exceptions in your favor: your free signup characters stay usable through your whole first paid month; whatever you don't use of your first month's characters stays usable for two more months (a safety net while you find your footing); and when you upgrade plans, your unused characters follow you into the new plan for a month. Grant characters like these are always spent before your plan characters.

Which voices are included?

Every voice in the catalogue is on every plan — dozens of classroom voices across ten languages, with pacing, pause, and pronunciation control.

I already have a PowerPoint — can I use it?

Yes. Import the deck and NarraSift narrates its speaker notes, then hands the file back with the audio embedded — it plays in PowerPoint itself, and whoever opens it needs no NarraSift account. Importing files is on Plus and Premium.

Can I show slides or diagrams?

Yes. Attach images to any part of a lesson and choose the word each one appears on. They show when you present; the downloaded MP3 is audio only.

A word sounds rushed or mispronounced — can I fix it?

Yes. Add a pronunciation in the editor: type the word, then spell it the way it should sound. Every lesson in that project will say it your way from then on.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are month to month and you can cancel from the billing portal whenever you like.
